A Jersey boy. A Troubadour. American Rock 'N Roll.

"In not only a music world, but a real world full of hang-ups and exaggerated woes,
it is never short of refreshing when a voice comes along who can say the 30 words you were thinking in only five."

“The songs he writes, and performs, are songs about real life, real people, real experiences. Things that everybody has to deal with. Falling in love, falling out of love, he writes about things that are true to his life, in many respects they are also true to everybody’s life.” – Chloe Rollins IndieRockNews

Had a blast on the radio last Sunday, I was joined by Chris and Scott from the band "Thus We Fall". It was a great night. Gearing up for a HUGE show down in Cape May NJ as part of the 3rd Annual Cape May Singer Songwriter Conference. I'll be having Thus we Fall as a backing band for the night, and it's going to ROCK! we'll be playing live at Aleathea's Restaurant and Bar inside the Inn of Cape May.
Booked my room there already, so I'm going to be able to enjoy myself afterwards. We start at around 11pm and go until they tell us to stop, or until the po-po shows up. Pass the word around if you know anyone who's been stuck inside for a while, and who needs to get out for a night. It's going to be a WILD night! Would you expect anything less of a celebration for kicking off Springs official arrival? I think not!
had a GREAT night of recording last night. Four songs are almost complete right now, and if the rest of the album turns out sounding even half as good as the first four songs do, then this album is really going to be kick A$%. Did a lot of old sKool techniques last night, even took my socks off and duct taped them to some drums sticks so I had some MALLET action going on.
There is nothing like stepping outside the box of traditional recording methods, and really getting creative. There was a lot of magic last night, and I think it was successfully captured on tape.

I consider myself pretty lucky in life. I've had ups and downs, some of which I am lucky to have survived from. I've played some great places for being an unknown artist. My favorite places to play are dive bars and coffee shops. Ma and Pa watering holes, and peoples houses.. I've only been seriously touring the east coast for about a year and a half. I can't tell you how much I enjoy playing the places that feel like home. When you think of it, home is where the people that matter the most, are. I have the utmost admiration and respect for those hidden gems out there. No matter where my music takes me, I'll never stop playing them. After all, who doesn't love coming home!
stay classy San Diego
A lot of my friends and fam have been asking me how the recording is going. Well, It's going great. Finished up some vocals on some tunes last night. I've also been asked where I've been recording at.. Here's the Laughing Boys Recording website. Vintage equipment is amazing to work on, and what's even better is a really chill vibe. It reminds me of Dirt Floor Studios in CT. The engineers (Tom & Ed) are amazing, and completely supportive. I don't like to talk to much about it because I don't want to Jynk anything, so That's all I'm reporting right now. I recorded a song at home over the last week and I will be posting it up here as a free down load. It's called "Dust" so keep an eye out for it.
The NEW YEAR has arrived. There are tons of great things happening. I'm currently working on my second album which is going to be AWESOME! There are going to be some old songs from Roads redone in a new light. songs include- Roads,Troubles, and a take on my song ANALOG that has been dying to be heard. There's going to be a bunch of new songs too including, HOLD ON, VICTOR OF THE DAY, A MILLION AND ONE WHAT IF'S, ME IS I, and many many more. This album is shaping up to be a real treat. I've been playing a lot of solo acoustic shows here and there, mostly under the radar. I've been bringing it back to my roots. When the album is complete I'll be doing a tour of radio stations in the hopes of getting some songs on the air for all of you who've been dying to hear me in your area. Keep checking back for updates.
